i’m giving a speech today on both sides of the helmet law can anyone give me some pro and cons for the law that i might not have heard? ---

in a car we have seat beats and airbags to protect us. on our bikes what do we have some leathers and a HELMENT. you wouldnt drive without a seatbelt now why would you drive without a helment. the group of bikers that ride crusiers should wear full facial helments so we dont need to see their ugly faces:D ---

If they are going to make wearing your seat belt a law they should make wearing a helmet a law. If your are going to give the choice of wearing a helmet peopel should be allowed to make the choice of wearing your seat belt. Its too much of a double standard… ---

I am an adult and can make decisons by myself. I could see a law it it affected other people, but seat belts and helmets affect the 1 person only. my $.02 ---

This is what I heard from a friend, that they took off the helmet law because there was too much a need for organ donors. Now in most cases your guts wouldn’t be worth anything if you wrecked on a bike, but there would probably be still some that would be of use. ---

wow, that is one of the stupidest things ive ever heard, they are running out of organ donors…haha i guess the way they see it is , if its a bad enough crash on your bike your gonna die anyway, but a seat belt in a car can save your life more often than a helmet…i think its stupid not to wear a helmet ---

haha I guess that didnt come out right, I was trying to give a contradiction to what he said. What I meant was that your organs wouldn’t be of any use in a wreck from riding a bike. All stemming for reasons he needed for his write-up. Do I believe this, not a chance. Do I care about helmet laws…nope. ---
