I’m heading out to Street Wars tomorrow night…expecting to run 13.8-14.0 somewhere in there. I heard they’re pretty strict about the helmet rules on non test and tune nights. Is that true? If so, where can I pick up a cheap SNELL approved helmet around here? Should I just hit up Gatto’s cycle or something like that? ---

yeah I just got a pretty decent HJC today for 116 with tax at tom clark in rostraver. it is DOT and SNELL approved ---

i got my helmet from Gatto’s… snell and dot approved for like 99 bucks… full face helmet too ---

One thing about those motorcycle helmets, and why car race helmets are more expensive is they don’t make the motorcycle ones to be flame retardant. ---

they inspected my full face bmx helmet and it was good enough, but i never even wore it, i had no problem running 13s and 12.6 with no helmet and they never said anything, but all were on test n tune, never raced
