# HELP an ipod newb

Ok well i have pretty much everything figured out with how to use my ipod except for a couple things. Ill only bother u wiht one for now. Well I have some vids of myself racing at the track that i would like to add to my ipod. Now ive done the add file to library, select it, open it, and then it looks like its doing something but really isnt doin a damn thing. Now these r file that i have downloaded off of this site and what not. But I dunno if i have to change the format of the file or what. They open in wmp and my BSplayer but will not open in itunes. I just cannot figure out what to do ive gone threw the help section and it doesnt help at all soo I turn to u guys any help would be great.

i dont know for sure, but it sounds like you were on the right path in talking about converting them to a different format. probably needs to be in quicktime format

they have to be in mp4 in order to use on the ipod

is there any way to make them mp4 or do they have to be that from the get go

you can get a ipod movie converter…just search google

sry to double post but just wanted to say thanks again i found one and it worked perfect
