if its not gonna be your race car, then you’ll appreciate the torque of the V6. I :love: the Maxima’s powerband. I just needs more on top (and a 5 speed :hs: )

sorry, should’ve specified more… I hear the VR6 engine in the Jetta, makes for a better car

well after cruising around in it… it is nice, the car is sooooo smooth. the 6 speed makes it nice for fast acceleration and some good highway driving. Definitely need to do a suspension come next spring. But other then that its plenty quick to cruise in and damn comfortable. Which is something I am not used to having

The VR6 is nice but it loves attention…and you get linear acceleration and torque…but things WILL go wrong with it…you’re a VW guy though, so you know they’re temperamental…

vr6 here has 45k miles worry free. as long as you do proper maintainance. only thing i had to replace was the routine serpentine belt at 30k and had a bad MAF sensor. Both cost under 70 bucks and easy to do yourself.
