# Help Me Fine a Local Laptop

Been checking at CC and Best Buy. I know its cheaper online but I need something I can see.

Based on that, I am looking for something around $1,000 or less. Anyone find one locally for me or recommend one to look at?

I am using it for a lot of programming and photoshop design and also decent gaming. Not looking to run Crysis at full res but it would be nice to be able to play HL2 or COD4 on pretty good settings. Also, I would need a 17" screen.

Thanks! Also, Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Turion X64

To me it seems that the Toshiba from circuit city seems like the better deal:

BlueTooth, 2ghz processor, and partially shared video memory

All seem sold out tho.

An explaination of AMD Turion vs Intel Core 2 Duo and share/partially shared and what to look for would be awesome.

Core 2 Duo over Turion, Intel still has the edge.
