# Help me quick: "Headlight protection"

I have been trying to locate an old thread that links to a “headlight protection” website of some sort that offers adhesive headlight covers for various make and models…
Direction to said site or thread would be great, thanks.

FYI: My application; I saw an 06 636 with smoked headlights and I want to locate a place to buy if at all possible.

To answer your question… why not tint? or vinyl? or the clear 3m bra?
I dont advise tinting them… cutting down your visibility on a bike is retarded.
Dont be retarded.
I ride with my high beams on during daylight hours and advise everybody on a bike to do the same.

As do I. It looked good, I just wanted to look into it a bit further… that is all.
Also, it pisses me off I can’t find the damn thread containing the website.
EDIT: I remember the clear coating from the website, I want more info on that also… for both my car and bike.

I may be in touch. I was thinking something sliiiiightly smoked for the headlights.
Also, I know we talked a while back about vinyl for the bike. I am still interested in some pricing. Shoot me a PM and let me know what we could do.:tup:

They have a LOT of precuts. I have dealt with them in the past with good results.
Actually, if you order through there, I want a few things for the lotus.

Yes and unfortunately they do not carry a pre-cut for the 05-06 636.
It is a nice site though, just not the one I remember from a thread way back…

its soooo easy to cut them out with an exacto knife once they’ve been applied…
imo buy HID’s and be done with it…
increase your visibility dont decrease… you have a enough of a disadvantage while riding.

I got my laminx (sp) from Mike @ technoticmedia, it wasn’t all that hard to put on and as Durka said it held together the headlight housing when I smacked a wall at WGI 🙂
