# Help me with decisions...

Here is a pic of my bike:
Decision 1: Headlights
Im taking willybeens advice and buying an HID kit from this site [http://www.ddmtuning.com/index.php?p=product&id=101&parent=85](http://www.ddmtuning.com/index.php?p=product&id=101&parent=85) but what color bulb should i get?

Note: 55w kits tend to wash out some of the color of the HID bulb due to the light output( for example, a 55w 8000k will look similar in color to a 35w 6000k kit).
1: 5k - brightest white (most logical/visibility)
2: 6k - slight blue tint
3: 8k - more blue
4: 12k - purple yo! (fuck practicality)

should i paint the parts circled in red body color? Photoshop anyone??

YES to painting, solid color would really make a clean look for the bike. Not really a headlight person, but if I had to choose I’d say bright white or maybe a slight blue.

no… resale on a stock paint bike is 90% of the time higher than a repainted bike
that being said… dont paint the entire thing, if you do, take before pics, so people dont think you wrecked the thing and painted it to cover it up…

I had a group of bikers driving behind me last year and one had super bright HID’s that looked like they were literally strobing because if the bike wasn’t perfectly flat or hit even the slightest bump or dip the angle of light would go out of whack. It was soo bad, bright and distracting I had to pull over to let 'em pass. He def ghetto rigged them and if anything made his bike more unsafe.
P.S. - I like the way your bike is painted now.

Usually painted plastics on a bike mean its been dropped. BUT something like the lower panel and race cowl wouldnt raise a flag IMO. The cowl already looks painted. maybe buy an aftermarket or used lower piece and paint that, leaving the stock one alone. I would leave the one near the wheel alone, i think it would attract your eye to look at something that doesnt necessarily need any attention as it sort of blends in now. …

thank you this helps alot! im def gonna go with 35w 6k lights! paint is still up in the air with me… the rear cowl is painted and its painted like garbage. i need to repaint either black or body color. so im gonna look into costs and appearance of going body color on the lower plastics. if n e one is photoshop savy it would be nice to see =)

my bike was in the previous owners house. now in my sisters garage.
