# Help Needed: '02 Alero. Someone do a brake job for me?

My girlfriend has an '02 Alero. The front pads and rotors were replaced last year and the rears, probably never. They are so shot they’re scrapping. It is urgent now…
I am looking for someone to do all four pads and rotors for me/her.
I will supply the pads and rotors, and pay you for your help of course 🙂

Someone told you it’s common for all the pads to get smoked like that? Come on Danielle, you’re a car girl, you should have slapped the shit out of him for an insult like that.

Unless she tracks it I don’t see her going through a set of pads in a year unless a caliper is sticking.

aleros tend to do that. My wifes has done that twice in the last 4 years.
Also, the caliper slide pins also need to be cleaned lubed…

must be a GM thing I used to do brakes on my dads friends grand am anually and he didn’t beat on it or drive a lot

well technically he told my dad…i replaced brakes and rotors every 10-12k on that POS … so glad it’s GONE

they were gone! i cleaned lube everything like i always do but wow those poor poor brakes they dont deserve the life there getting
