# Help Needed: Engineers/Architects/Physiscs Gurus enter please

it depends on how the 2 beams will share the load. You need to make sure that the load is evenly distributed across both beams, the entire length.

Lafengas, i’m guessing you have a steel manual, check out the values for box beams, one of those might work.

well, if he did that…we would stick weld the two beams together and box in the sides of both just in case. soooo…any idea what the two 5" beams would have to be?
