Hey my boost controller was installed a couple days ago but I’m having trouble tuning it. When I drive under WOT, it will go over my limit.

Like I just want it to boost up to 7psi and keep boosting at that amount but it’ll go over to about 8-9 psi before I get close to redline so I have to remove my foot off the throttle.

Anyone know how to tune it better or willing to post your settings? It’s a stock CA18DET with 3inch exhaust only.

Thanks in advance

by just putting on the boost controller u will gain atleast 1-2 psi! play with the start boost, gain, and set! go to the greddy site and d/l the manual!

Oh yea? I was wondering why it was overboosting even when I turned it off haha. Is there anyway to tune it back down to 7-8ish psi? running 10psi is too much for stock right?

10-11psi stock is reasonable on premium fuel. my friend has an EBC in his silvia and he sometimes boosts to 13-14psi. he hasn’t fried anythnig yet, but i wouldn’t recommend doing a top speed run or anything.

u can run 10 psi with no fuel mods and u will be fine! just make sure u tune in the boost spike so u dont destroy turbo!
