# Help w/ 01 Celica

Alright, so my car is idling at 2-2.5k and making a high pitched whining noise. It also randomly revs by itself. The CEL code is an o2 sensor, but isn’t it possible that it could be a vacuum leak, IACV, MAF, leaking bypass valve? IDK what it is and I have to pass inspection this week… I don’t want to waste $100+ on an o2 sensor that won’t fix anything… Any help/suggestions? :banghead:

go in to your garage and spray carb cleaner all over the engine bay. When you spray over a vacuum leak it will raise the idle. BUT make sure you keep the doors closed so there is no draft.
