# Help, what did I jack up?

So I bought a new teggy and the headunit in it took a shit and froze up so I bought a new head unit (Pioneer 5900). I put it in and it came on for like two seconds and shut off and at this time my clock shit the bed too. So I figured the ground I used wasn’t good enough I used a previous ground point for the accessories behind the dash, after taking everything back out and looking more at it I saw that there is a factory chassis ground in the harness and I wired it up. I blew the accessory fuse and I changed it out. Still nothing after fixing all that. So what did I fuck up and how bad?

Looks like there’s an internal ground fuse. Have you cracked it open yet?

check the 7.5 amp backup fuse under the hood

check the 7.5 amp fuse in the underhood fuse box. i think its label “back up”

check underhood, then use a multimeter to check all power wires in the radio harness.

well last night I met up with joe and that back up fuse was bad. What is that fuse for I mean it says back up but anymore detail on it?
