# Help with CEL code

I need help with a CEL code for A 02 Toyota Camry. I took it to AutoZone and the paper he gave me it had a CEL code of “BBEVAP” Could anyone help me out here with this??

Sounds like a malfunctioning evap canister. Did you check the gas cap?

Whats the actual code #? p0440-01?  
Small leak is usually the gas cap.

yes i did and a few times the cel went off only to come back on a few days later

take a close look at the filler neck. I’ve seen alot of them with pin holes

on a slamry the canisters themselves have a bad rep. the dealer stocks them.
