# Help with HVAC Control Relocation....

Well I have been searching online non stop for the last 5 hr…and this sucks…maybe someone can help me…
I have a 2000 mustang
I wanna move my hvac controll to my glove box and I don’t know if I can disconnect the vaccum lines…and if I do would it mess anything up…it has a fan speed control, temperture controll, and the vent selection. They are cable and vaccum style controlls…
Did anyone relocated their controlls? If so please help thanks.

you can disconnect them, it won’t hurt anything, I would just extend them so they reach the glovebox.

probablly won’t be able to extend the cable. vaccum line are a breeze. you should be able to pick up vaccum lines and fittings at a hardware of automotive store.

cables are going to be tough, I’d go to a bicycle shop and pick up some brake or deraileur cables and see if they have some sort of crimps or something.

I want my slot loaded dvd computter drive in place of my hvac so I can have access to the dvd drive for the carputer baby
