last night i let my sister drive the beater blazer and when she got back, she said she couldn’t get the map lights (lights in the rearview mirror) to go back off. i tried everything, i took the door switches out and checked them… they’re good. it might be the dimmer switch (roller switch), but i’m not sure. i had to unplug the mirror so my battery won’t run down. these lights normally come on when you open the doors and will turn off about 10 secs after you close the doors. any ideas?

the switches on the mirror and dimmer are both off, i checked all 4 door switches, and none of them are sticking, all move freely.

on another note, i’m in the process of getting this thing ready for inspection (new muffler/tailpipe, and 4 new shocks)… i’m not used to working on old vehicles.
