# help with oil pressure gauge

can someone please help me…i just bought the APC glo gauge oil pressure gauge, and it comes with no instructions. If anyone can help me with what i’m supposed to do i’d appreciate it…call my cell if you can…412-953-9629. I looked at the gauge, and it just doesn’t make any sense. Thanks.

can you tell us if its mechanical or electric? All wires in the kit or does it have a clear tube?

there junk,dont use it.all that will happen is that little plastic tube they gave u will break and then you’ll leak oil everywhere then ur motor will shit itself.mech. oil pressure gauges are the worst thing ever made…

go to a junkyard, and get one from a vw rabbit or cabriolet, or audi. it is an electrical gauge made by vdo. then, go on the motor, and get teh sending unit. run 2 wires to sending unit to gauge, and wire up the gauge like any other for lighting. it is important u get teh sending unit from the same car u take the gauge from, as they make gauges from 5 to 10 bar, and have a shit load of sending units. cabriolet/rabbits read from 0-5 bar, and some audis go from 0-10 bar…
