# Help with ticket!

Not for me, but for my friend. I’ve never gotten a speeding ticket so i’m not sure what to do in this situation. Anyway, she was caught doing 87 in a 65 by a cop who was on an OVERPASS as she drove underneath. Beaned with the laser. He apparently caught up to her from on top of the overpass and pulled her over and wrote her the ticket. She was driving her friends car, btw. Anyway, I am just wondering what I can do to help her out. This is her first ticket and she has a clean driving record. Plead guilty, not guilty, etc. Not sure what to do here. She’s also not from around here, so I am not sure how that will work out or if it will even affect anything. She is from Bellmore, NY. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Plea not guilty, appear in court, talk to the DA and the officer, plea it down.
I just got an 84 in a 65 reduced to parking on pavement.

first ticket will most likely get reduced… see if you can even get it down to a 2 point failure to obey a traffic device… thats what ive gotten for every single ticket that actually went on my record

It was actually a little over one month. Daily driving a candy painted ~500hp camaro ~100mi per day for work unlicensed. Cops spread the word pretty quick. I used to dodge them all of the time. It’s not evading if they don’t turn the lights on or get behind you. :lol
…they didn’t seem to like that much.

:rofl My dad was telling me and Whalen(Code Blue) the other day while we were shootin the shit at the garage how he got i think it was 29? or 30? tickets in one night, on one incident where he led a police chase through 5 counties then wrecked HARD into a guardrail on his new Yamaha turbo crotch rocket when he was like 22. Got the news paper article out n all! :crackup
Oh and chris, she shouldn’t have a hard time getting it reduced if she’s got a clean record.
