I have a 94 teg as u all proly know i have all the basic bolt ons… what should i buy next to generte more speed… i have headers.cold air.exhaust ---

Turbo the LS or get a built vtec head w/valvetrain and cams and a better header (Hytech style) with a matching 2.5" exhaust ---

yeh but i heard LS vtecs are very unrelaiable…and how would i go about getting that done…how hard/expensive of a proces is that ---

Ghetto ass ls vtecs that were poorly done by morons are what gave them that reputation. I have built more then a couple all still running like day 1. Its not going to make great power without spending a few bucks. Basic turbo kits the best way to go assuming the motor is healthy. ---

Like someone else said, what are your goals? Street machine? Weekend track car? all out race car? Also, how much are you willing to spend? Some ideas: -Port your IM and get a larger TB to match. If you have a dual runner IM take out the IABs. -Cam it(don’t forget the valvetrain either). You can go from mild to wild here, just know that the larger the cam you get the less streetable the car will be. -LS/Vtec. Don’t half ass it. If you have a deep pocket get light rods and light pistons that will bump your CR up a good bit (11-12:1), if not get the oem pieces refreshed. While the head is off the motor refresh that as well. Get new bearings, arp studs n bolts, etc. -Turbo. Near endless combinations here. Best bet is to do your research. If you’re too lazy, bring it to Synapse and cut them a check. -Swap. Can always swap in a b18c of some sort, or an H22. Another much less common option is building an H23/Vtec (or one of the other F/H hybrids) and swapping that in. Most important: no matter what you do, tune it. Even if you do nothing else, tuning it will make the mods you have now produce more power. ---
