# Hey Pewter!

A guy at work blew the engine on his 1995 Buick Regal. Can you get him a replacement engine, and how much do you think it would run him? Let me know if you can help me out or not. Thanks. It’s the SC 3800.

I guess gettin one of these is a waste of time then? Would it be cheaper to rebuild the broken one? I think he broke the crankshaft. And he has a Riviera, not a Regal, but that won;t change anything.

it’s not a 60° it’s 90

and it’s very unlikely the crank broke, more than likely spun a rod or chunked a piston. the intake gaskets do leak and will either hydrolock the motor or dump coolant into the lifter valley.
