She runs total cost of rebuild… $55 shipped for a set of used LS pistons
planned on doing a decent rebuild until I saw the condition of the cylinder walls, rust pitted severely.
instead I ball honed the block in the car with the crank installed,
re-used bearings, rings, gaskets, headbolts. only added assembly lube and copper spray.
183164mi on original engine, oh yeah she’ll be lasting long :eek4:
