i have hicas on my 92 s13 240 :wall: i want to cancel it but i am not sure if just the canceler bar will to the trick without a hitch. i heard somewhere that with just the bar, the computer notices there is something wrong and things screw up from there. is this true?? or can i jsut throw a canceler bar on there. i was also wondering if i can just remove the hicas?? i appreciate any help. thank you in advance. your Hican conroller in your S13 doesnt work with your engine computor. The only thing that will hampen is that the light will be on. If you want to do it the good way you can pull all the lines, weld up the hole in your canister and take the blades out of the rear on the rear pump of the power steering. Then pull the solonide too. Thing that sucks is that pretty much every car with HICAS had worn out tie rods and ball joints so if you dont want ANY slop at all best to replace those too or atlease check them too see if they need replacing. Orrrrrr buy a non hicas subframe 🙂 More work and a lil bit more money but you wont have to spend any money on joints/rods ---

Yea just put the bar in there and cut the wires going to the Hicas light Works fine for me ---

if only nissan could have seen 15 years into the future…hicas would have never existed…all the 240s would have sr’s stock, and there would be another few thousand produced. ---
