# HICAS II

In the morning when I warm up my car the Hicas light stays on for awhile and even a little while after it has warmed up, could anyone tell me what this means?

What type of power steering fluid would it take?

ATF Dextron III about .8L
I used the Mobil one synthetic ATF in mine and it made it a whole lot nicer to drive.

Also when you said before about the oil filter for tha Ca18 being from the 88 pulsar, I bought one but its the wrong size, would you happen to know a part number? It doesn’t come up with any more options.

That should be the right filter. DOubl check they gave you the right filter!
Your looking for a filter for the CA18DE, non-turbo. Maybe that info will help a parts store cross-reference it???

Hmmmm i have sold tons for the CA18DET and they have all worked.
Do you have a reloaction kit on yours??

Well the filter that’s on it right now appears to be smaller in diameter than the new one and the rubber seal on the new filter is right on the edge so it didn’t quite look like it would fit. I was almost ready to order a dozen filters from Japan. Nothing like staying JDM the whole way. I wonder how much imported air for my tires costs… No I’m going to see if the new one will fit.

I think 3682 is SR20… so if the CA is the same filter as the SR, then it should be correct.

PH4983 is the correct SR one that is a direct cross from my nissan FAST system.
The Ca one is the same as the KA which is the ph3862. I saw one on a CA today.
However both have the same thread but the o-ring is placed different.

So even though the rubber seal is in a little bit of a different spot it should fit? It almost looks like it may sit on the outside of the face.
