# hid install help

i got this set of hids fromt the group buy, they are h1’s and i have a 97 240sx. i cant seem to get the bulb to lock into place in the housing because the hid bulp with the plastic peace is alot smaller the the origanal one that was in there. let me know what you think

A quick google search tells me that the high beam bulb is a 9005 (which, by the looks of it, is what you took out), so you most likely have to take out the other bulb???

so that is a high beam bulb that i took out not a low beam? i dont have the battery in my car right now so i cant check

high beam is closer to grill, low beam is the one in the projector housing…

ok great ill have a look again tommorow… thought it was the other way around… realy should of just took the battery out of my winter beater and put it in to check…

yup that was the problem… was working on the hi beam bulb… got everything installed today looks/working good!! 🙂
