Here are the final pics. Don’t mind the runs, I slapped the POR15 on thick to keep it protected. I’ll get pics of how it sits in relation to the tailgate skin. It’s a lot lower than depicted in the schemes up above. Update: Just got it tacked into place. I had to tack it with flux core because my gas ran out. I should have finished this before driving it around. FYI… I think it would be alot easier to build you trailor fixture to suit the height of the trailor. Not the trailor to the height of the fixture. In your cad drawing after the fixture you raise the height to 18" straight up with a 45 degree stabalizing bar it might tow better. ---

Yeah, it’s pretty obvious the hitch will have to be up a little bit more after getting the bed back on. It’s just that fuckin low. I plan on the trailor being low too, but the pivot point between the two will be raised up off the ground a little ways. Is there a ‘standard’ height for trailor tongues? ---

Not much new here but I did finish up the drag bar. I plan on doing a road test with it tomorrow. I tested it a little bit today but didn’t want to waste the steel without a camera rolling.
