# highway towing w/ a tow dolly. Illegal ?

uhaul will rent you a dolly with a mercury mountaineer though… fyi.

you should have no problems. its legal to tow or i would have been stopped towing on a tow dolley an AWD caravan (unhooked the driveshaft) that had no passengers door, no rear hatch, no hood and the drivers corner was hit HARD. that was something noticeable enough to get someone to take a look at what i was doing when i went through the toll booths. 🙂

i was at least using a capable truck. 07 duramax gmc. didnt even feel the thing back there.
