An SUV doing 55 uses twice the gas as my car doing 75. And my 5 th gear doesn’t work :bloated:

Modern cars don’t get much better mpg at 55 than they do at 65 because of the much higher gearing. It’s not like back in the 70’s where everyone was driving 3 speeds that were spinning 4 grand at 75.
But, it’s just yet another political move by Hillary. She could care less if it actually works, as long as she can squeeze a few votes out of it.

i wouldn’t like that at all. just because i have a tendency to go fast and i just can’t seem to control it.
down south the 70 mph rocks… to me that means i can go 85 though.

I have serious doubts about her being our next president. It might seem likely living in a liberal state like NY, but there are a whole lot of places in this country that are no where near ready to have a woman president. I don’t have a problem with a woman president, just not that woman.

I don’t think Hillary can beat the field for the nomination. If she does, she’s 60/40 to win a general. McCain or Rudy wont get the nomination, so no need to worry about them. I would fucking LOVE Frist to be the republican candidate…
It’ll be interesting to see if Gore runs…I think he takes the general easily. I wouldn’t mind seeing Biden either…

How do you feel about Warner? He’s got the southern governor thing goin for him that helps democrats get elected but he’s a little too conservative for my liking…

i dont drive on the thruway enough to where it would really matter to me. but for when i do, i have a ver very good radar detector so i’ll rpob still speed lol
