This happened to my cousin a year back, same street, different household. They refused to take responsibility, the cop then asked the family whether or not they’d object to take a sample of their paint-transfer to see if it matches that of my cousin’s vehicle. They caved in the end. Any advice/insight as to what the insurance company will settle on if I should go that route?
