This. I cancelled mine, for now, because of that. Not sure what I want to do. I also hate cleaning my own car as I’m getting more lazy, but I also hate to see them destroy my paint.
Not to mention they tore my front driver side mat up. The hole/ring that clips into the floor got torn completely out when some douche bag at the one on Central or the one in Latham tried taking my mat out.
Also, they do a TERRIBLE job of cleaning the windows and it’s usually streaking or has a hand print or something stupid on it.
I mean, it’s definitely convenient and easy…but I’m still on the fence if I will re-register for it.

yikes, that just screams swirls and micro scratches to me.
i use touchless car washes in the winter to get the salt off, and i hand wash mine about once a week in the summer. i’ve had bad experience with hoffmans, but if you’re looking for a quick rinse then go for it. in my experience, the automated ones (even the touchless) leave the car a little dirty and there is always residual soap that doesn’t get rinsed off

Is this for the touch free or the drive through? Fuck going through the drive through wash.
I had to paint correct an F430 that was FUCKED from going through that.

drive through… def does give you swirl marks but its really not bad on anything but a black car… my red bmw i went to hoffmans TWICE a day for 2 years and it was mint.

Depends on hard or soft your paint is really. Different manufacturers use different paints.

I’ve never had a problem with the big Hoffmans on central… Like Dave said, If my car wasn’t black I’d have a unlimited plan. And I actually think they do a decent job inside for what your paying for.

The touchless doesn’t leave swirls on black right.? No way it could… does the unlimited apply to touchless too or is it just the brushes?

I have the unlimited for my G8. I ended up driving it this “winter” and wanted to wash it often and get an undercarriage wash. The ones I go to, you don’t have to get out and let an employee drive it. I will cancel it at the end of my next billing cycle and wash it myself.

me too, thats why i didnt understand at first what smokinss was saying, but then I remember’d, theres a few that you do get out of.
