local, state farm will pay a claim easy, but costs more… Allstate often less money, but harder to get paid…but you will get paid after more hassle. Liberty mutual sucks. Look into Dignum Insurance in Colonie. Good company / agent. I get alot of my stuff from Willy Mirandas (Allstate) in CP or Dan Keegan (State Farm) in Guilderland. ---

I agree with Jammer about State Farm BUT with my mother who had a couple of claims within the past few years though and she has had State Farm for over 20+ years they dropped her. So even though hey are one of the best hey are still an insurance company if you know what I mean, Now with All State they can give you a great deal BUT they also want you to switch over any other insurance you have, to give you the best deal. like car insurance policy is actually higher than state farm. So you kinda got to shop around for a median ---

Yeah I know I understand how insurance companies work, BUT hypothetically say your roof and home gets wind damage of course you make a claim, Oh shit your Furnace Goes and now you got Soot caked on everything in your whole house of course another claim…Never a claim over little shit in 17 years BUT it is Manditory to have Insurance on your home BUT if something happens you get penalized/dropped for using it, is bullshit. This is where government should get involved. seriously, it bugs me that i have this water damage, the paint bubbled and the cieling is water stained
