# Honda Alternator ?

I have a brand new accord alternator but i have a prelude engine. so the alternators for the prelude 92-96 and accord 90-93 and 94-97 accord look the same only the 90-93 accord has a 5 groove pulley while the prelude and accord have 6 grooves. can I buy either alternators i look in a junk yard and pull one and switch pulleys
