i have a d15b vtec motor and its idle is reving between .5k and 2k. i looked into it and thought that it might have something to do with the iacv. now im wondering if any d series iacv will work with this motor. and if not, what do i need exactly?

Any IACV valve that uses the same hole pattern (there are two that Honda uses) can be mounted to your IM. Just find a used one at a junkyard, that looks like yours, and swap them out.
