I voted yes (but I wont be bringing a car so my opinion is from a different perspective) I still think we can go and have a good time, seriously if they want to cover all badges FINE, But who say we cant have a bit of fun with it, a mustang cobra with 1.6L VTEC badges sounds good to me. ---

I dont understand, you’re supposed to be gaining recognition for the site and having a good time, but because of the “principal of the matter,” you’re going to ruin a pretty premiere opportunity? No doubt, its gay as hell, but just slap some painters tape (or even better, the nyspeed decals you require) over the badges and go and enjoy yourself. If people ask why, just tell them the truth but dont be flagrant about it. ---

X2. This is a tremendous event to go to, no need to reduce ourselves over something that could be overturned in the future. Again, I’m not in favor of their decision here this year, but it still wouldn’t stop me from attending… ---

well considering i probably have te most badges out of anyone to cover up. im going to have to say no. i was really looking forward to going. but why take your car if its just going to look stupid sitting there with blue tape everywhere. my point being: (4) logos on wheel spoke (2)calipers windsheild (2) 1/4 rear windows (2) trunk (2) fenders and then all the ones in the engine bay/ interior. so unfortunately, if we dont go i will be bummed i missed out on the event but taking the time to tape everything and just making the car look incredibly ridiculous…id rather just go to Watkins Glen alone at that point ---

I’m not burning any bridges here. I have a great relationship with the event staff going back 4 years now. Honda is only the title sponsor of the event for 2009 and it changes every year. Who knows about 2010. I’m leaving it up to you guys. ---

personally, my car probably won’t make the show, BUT, I do have a decent hookup with girls that could come with us, And, i’m going to say that I am completely against going. It’s fucking retarded that we have to ruin our cars that we have put so much time/money/sweat into just because a car company says so. THE way I see it, by us not going there, they are loosing out on a decent chunk of change, and motorsports are really thirsty for money now adays. If they don’t budge,Josh, I’d say a no go on Toronto and focus on Walkins Glen foo shoo. ---

i think we go don’t obey the rules, make then enforce it and then just ask for our money back when they do. Honda wont always be the sponsor, we would only be burning bridges with Honda. ---
