# Honda Metro 50CC, not starting

It’s slow at the office today. Let’s chat.

50cc Honda Metro Scooter. Coworkers. Brought to me not running. (like i’m a mechanic, lol)

-Fuel pump works, pumps fuel up from tank when cranking  
-New spark plug, battery healthy  
-Will run fine on starter fluid then bog out immediately.

My best guess is a jet/enricher issue with the carb. I tell you, for a little 50cc scooter these things are entirely way too complicated (fuel pump, ECU are you kidding?). If anyone has experience with these things before I dig into the carb, let me know.

I’d guess the carb has something dumb going on, but I’m no mechanic either
