i think most stock cars are, the new si’s are nice, the new GTI’s are nice factory… rs4’s outta the factory are nice. just to name a few…

yeah the 3000gt is an econo box, they came in the fwd n.a as the base model correct? the vr4 is just the badass version like the type-r that honda/acura has

The 3/S in no way was an econ box. It was Mitsubishi’s flag ship car for a decade. The NA still went for over $30K in the LOW/MID 90s.

well I didnt know that, what the hell did the vr4 go for then? like 40k??? I always thought the base 3000gt was a cheap econo-box

The sticker price of my car in 1996 was $46,900. The Spyders in 95/96 went for MID $6X and LOW $7X.
Consider Mitsubishi in the 1990s? Eclipse NA/Turbo, Eclipse Spyder NA/Turbo, 3000GT NA/Twin Turbo, 3000GT Spyder NA/Twin Turbo. They went downhill fast though.

Your car was really $46K new??? WTF thats alotta cash for the day. Hard to believe that the spyders were 60-70, thats nuts. Of course, and this kills me to say this, but thats when Mitsu was pumping out a good ammount of nice cars. I thought about getting a AWD Turbo Eclipse at one point, but then i smartened up :tong
