i doubt anyone here is gonna use the word on the forums to put someone down, so they would not do that in person either. but alot of us who say it on the forums will say it in person the same way, joking around… that word has become very sociably acceptable and i say it all over the place as a habbit but i would never say it in a disrespectful way …(that doesnt make any sense prolly thx to my skills at explaining)

I don’t think I ever seen the word “n i g g a” used on this forum until it got censored. Now all you cracker asses are fighting to get it uncensored, and act like its part of your normal vocabulary… god damn white people :retardclap

i really do use it on the regular in person all the time and its not cuz i got alot of black friends i think i got more white friends than black !

I agree with both sides… so I’m neutral I guess.
On one hand, yes censorship is stupid if I want to call someone the N word and I want them to know that I called them the N word its pretty stupid.
Second off I don’t use the N word in a racial slur, I use it as its dictionary definition states, I don’t care what color or who you are, if your acting like the N word I’m going to call you the N word. So in that aspect I think censorship is stupid.
Now with what Vlad said I also agree 100% We ask for more maturity and more technical stuff and ask people to write more “enlighting things” for people to read. Yet if we turn into a mad house where everyone can just go around calling everyone a Jew or a N word or a crazy commuinist well then we are going to drive those people away.

it wont get out of control, no mad house to be had here, its already as bad as its going to get anyways, restricting anyone here is just going to make it worse IMO
and going around calling people jews gets old (ok not really i love doing it)

This is the point I’m driving at… If left unchecked, some people who are “outside” the Shift518 group who hop on the board and take a quick look around may not feel it’s worth joining. Deterring future members who may have valuable contributions is well, bad for growth.
