# How can I record a sound clip off youtube?

Is there a way or a free program that I can use to record a small sound clip off of youtube/quicktime/mpeg movie?

mac or windows…

if you need to truncate the file, there are a ton of sound editors, i recently downloaded “wave-pad”. It works great and is very simple!
