# how can you tell?

im doing a motor swap and i want to know how you can tell if its an s14 or s15 motor? its a blacktop.  
if anyone knows like mabye the engine codes or something?

And theres the power rating, the s15 motor has 250hp

There is also an s13 blacktop enigine, s14 blacktop has vvt, not sure if it will say that anywhere either.

S13 and S14/15 blacktops are readily distinguishable by the lack of a hump on the S13 engine.

cool i guess id just have to see them side by side to really know.oh its five speed.  
is there an intercooler kit i could buy for like less than 800 bucks?
