# how do i connect my whole house together using the wireless router?

I have one pc(xp) hooked up directly to the router and two pcs wireless(windows 7 on one and the other a mac). How do i configure all three computers to share certain files on each of the computers safely and effortlessly through the router? i have done a few google searches but seem to come up with a bunch of different answers (all different os related). I want to basically share our music and movie folders within the three computers. I know you guys are better than the internet with answers!!

Put them all in the same work group
Enable file sharing

go into the computer properties of each computer and make sure they are in the same workgroup.
