Growing up I always thought how sweet it would be to go somewhere like Alaska and do some down hill ice skating on the frozen rivers. I never thought I would see something like this. Yes its old but man do I wish I could partake in this event! I grew up playing hockey from 4-18 yrs old and was on the ice before I was even a year old. I almost signed up for the one in boston when it came around. It’d be cool if we could do that in Buffalo. Maybe on Main somewhere by Swan and have it go under HSBC tower then past Exchange and down toward Canalside. I wonder if that would have enough elevation to make it interesting. ---

I’m hoping to get back into shape with the mountain biking so that I can do a bar league with my brother. His team ends up splitting up every year for the Labatt pond hockey tournament and make it to the finals each year. Last year the slit team played eachother for the cup. lol I miss playing so much and know that if I got back in to it, I’d have a great team to join.
