# How do I move a locked car in my driveway?

you can.
there’s a manual switch around the automatic shifter. you open the lid and push the switch with a blunt object (perhaps OP’s car key?)

Now as much as I hate Dan for thinking outside the box, it’s not like the car’s in the middle of the driveway. It looks like you have room to just go around it.

so without a key you put in neutral? then it was broke i work on cars everyday i know how automatic transmissions are.

its a column shifter on that car also. so strike 2

^im not trying to be smartass…
what’s simply what happened with my friend’s car just last week.
the AAA guy opened the small lid around the shifter and then he used his Swiss army knife to push the switch down. after that, he was able to switch the tranny to neutral.

Victory! Whoa, 3 pages? Holy shit. Well anyways, I just dragged it onto the lawn with my Nissan. She still has a few last words in her lol
Well Reid finally got back to me, said no one has a key and he won’t be back til tomorrow. I said no problem, we’ll just do it then hahaha I hope I’m outside when he gets home so I can see the look on his face. I’m gonna keep my camera in my pocket, maybe I can even capture the moment.
