my camera uses a 1394 port… its labeled as DV on the camera. not the same as USB i guess. i connect that to my labtop and use windows movie maker to upload it to the computer and save it to disk if i want or just save it to the comp hard drive itself. i also have a program i use to shrink the size down so i can upload them to the internet.
