I just accepted a project manager position at Praxair. Project Manager, Small On-Site Engineering Good bye R&D, hello making money for the man. I wish i could double my salary, but once your in, your subject to Everycompany USA salary structure. ( I’m not cool enough for big bumps) ---

After flying puddle jumpers for 8+ years, I was recently hired at United Airlines and fly the Boeing 737 out of Newark, NJ. Flying to lots of nice places and meeting a ton of great people. With all the baby boomers retiring in the next decade, (we have a mandatory retirement age of 65) it will provide a lot of opportunity to fly different aircraft and different routes. Thanks! This job took me 12 years to get. I did all of my flight training while I was in college. Worked as a flight instructor for a few years building flight hours. Got hired by a smaller regional airline flying a 50 seat jet. Worked there for 8 years, building more time and experience hoping to one day fly for a large, major airline. It took a lot to get here, but hopefully I’m done job searching for a long time. Now I can focus on the car again :tup: ---

My last work trip I flew for I actually looked into becoming a pilot just because haha. After seeing what you make working for small regional airlines and how long it takes to land a big gig I quickly decided I don’t have that kind of patience. Congrats again, that is awesome! ---
