People say sun? I thought everyone said sawn? Actually, i just realized how dumb pronouncing it sawn is. Oh well, I’m still calling it sawn. ---

son like sound in French except with the n pronounced. I don’t know how even English speaking people can say ‘sun’ when clearly its an o not an u. or soon or whateevr. It’s a single o. You don’t say dun or done, when you read don. English is weird, yay for village language gone global. ---

They get “sun” from the actual word “son”. As in “my father’s son is my brother”. It’s pronounced like “sun”. They’re still wrong as hell though since we aren’t talking about anyone’s son. You’re right, English is weird. ---

i always thought it was sawn, but the few people i have met up with have called it sun, who cares though? its not like everyone purnounces any english the same, look at a newf for instance they speak the same english as us its just more irishy sounding, and very fast ---
