refer to title…i own a maxima for now and the swap price with parts was in the three thousand mark, just wondering for ppl who’ve done it, how much it came up too.

I’ve done a 5spd. swap on my S14 and with all the parts and labor it came out to 1100 bucks or so… Labor was about 350 bucks…
For the S13 it should be a bit cheaper since the parts are easier to obtain.

wow…the price difference between these cars and mine is simply ridiculous…holy :shock:

There are a few guys on the board here who are mechanics and offer good rates on side jobs.

If you want it done for about 350-400 bucks… contact Chris (canadiandrifter240sx) (he did my swap) and I’m sure he can arrange something for you.
Just make sure you have all the parts, and it should be all good 🙂

it should be mentioned that just about anyone here who does a tranny swap uses a used tranny which cuts down on the price, probably by $600-$1200 for the tranny rebuild…
The S-chassis tranny is over-engineered for a 155 crank horsepower car, but no one here will complain about that…

you are right… no one here complains about the trannies… they’ll last, especially in a stock car.
The tranny I got, had over 200k on it and it still shifts perfectly fine.
