The almighty dsm… “The owner of an AWD 1995 Eagle Talon decided to take his car to the dyno to see how it fared to the rest of the comparable cars with simliar mods, mainly cars who were still running stock bottom ends. With nitrous, there were hopes of over 500WHP. The car had ran an 11.9 @ 120 earlier in the year, so the possibilties of reaching that goal were close in sight. How’d it fare? I can tell you from experience my car was fast at 32 psi when my boost controller spring hung up…lol…I was like this feels fast then I looked at the boost gauge closer and promptly let off the gas…my stock bottom end is still fine. ---

I love this guy… “Fbody’s a real, car, this is a toy… Honda’s a racecar…” I am glad his motor blew up and he has to pay $300 for dumping oil at the dyno… ---

that was retarded. the dyno shows the detonation, and that its getting lean. lets make more runs one right after the other on a heat soaked engine. too much stupid before my morning coffee ---

I’ve never been to a dyno where you drove your own car, and judging by the comments, it looked like the kid that tried to pick up the piece w/ his hand was the owner. ---

that was actually a pretty well put together vid. the owner was the windbreaker/camo-hatted kid, seemed like he took it fairly well. they said the same thing zerodaze did - “car lost fuel pressure”. was that 35 psi they ran? :eekdance: that’s a pretty stout bottom end youse dsm’ers gots. ---

The rods are the exact same rods that are in the Evolution 8. They are good at taking pressure around TDC but anything at odd angles and kaboom!! On C16, a guy went 10.7 @ 139 on the stock bottom end 7bolt. His tuning was superb. ---
