# How many beers will you drink

and then get in a car and drive?
The most I will drink is 2 short glasses of beer which is probably less than 2 cans. This is while eating a full meal. If I’m not eating 1 beer is my max.
I’ll make this poll private so people will be honest, Even tho it should be public so we know who the douches are.

If I sit down to dinner and have 1 beer, I’ll wait it out and drive after dinner is over but that is it.
When I was younger I was stupid and would think I could drive after being sloshed and had a few close calls with the law so since then I refuse to drive even after 1. Not to mention how dangerous it is.

same. A few close calls followed by friends getting DWI’s was enough to make me think twice these days.
I usually wont drive if I’ve consumed anything alcoholic out of habit anymore, but If I’m out, maybe 2 beers or so… or I’ll wait to drive/stay somewhere until I sober up.
with that said, I rarely even drink these days

I recently found out that you can get a DUI even if you’re below the legal limit. I was unaware of that, but good to know.

Yep. Except there are no DUIs in NYS.
DWAI would be .05 or higher.
DWI would be .08 or higher.
ADWI would be .18 or higher.

What about how many beers I’ll drink WHILE in the car driving? Dash mounted funnel :tup:
After the DARE presentation in HS I always wanted to keep a bottle of mouthwash in my car. Get pulled over, blow like a .75 or .80 and pass the sobriety tests. I wonder what they’d do.

i don’t fuck around with that shit anymore… I won’t have more than one (like if i have a drink at dinner or something).
not worth it at all.
i’ve made poor decisions in the past but nothing that has ever resulted in being pulled over.

Yes and no. Most states don’t have different classifications. So they have a DUI and that’s it. NYS has different levels of drunk driving offenses: DWAI DWI ADWI. So it is but it isn’t. :gotme:
I won’t have any or more than one in a sitting and drive anymore. Not worth 10k and bullshit.

edit: so is having ANY alcohol in your system classified as a DUI in any other state? or does it have to be a certain limit? (.05 or whatever)
