I finally got to cleaning out my list after seeing 700 “friends” post crap and not realizing who the hell most of them are. I am working to bring it down to about 100-150 people that I actually know and talk to at least one time every 6 months. How many people are on your list that you actually talk to and have a real connection with? ---

347, and I really never got into deleting people. I just don’t see how you can have so many facebook friends. Do you add every single person that you could potentially even be connected to? There has to be a significant number of those that you have never even met. ---

I have 187, I delete people all the time for multiple reasons. If I don’t talk to you, or your updates suck…see ya. Then I have people from high school that I didn’t talk to then that want to be friends now? ---

Generally, my new requirement for facebook friends is: “Would I say hi to this person if I were to see them in public?” My current system of deletion entails removing people who dont fit the above criteria, when their birthday pops up on my feed.
