It seems fast right now. It will be interesting to see what happens as word spreads that it’s back up and traffic picks back up. It’s really difficult to simulate real world loads when testing.

Well seeing that we just built a 3 GB index of the database for searching in under an hour I will say it can handle the load. It took 16 hours on the old server with 1/3 the database.

weve been on this new format on another forum im on, it sucks on ie7 due to some of the resizing things. but im not complaining.
This layout ius a little different tho, im still trying to find new posts ect.
edit, not new posts, but unread posts ect. all the little options from the old skin
I like it tho, this shit is awesome, how long til the feedbacks and stuff come back, couple weeks?
I noticed its under community but mine was blank.
I dunno forum looks good, server is fast so far, id like to see it once its getting beat on prime time.

You fix that by not using a shitty internet browser. Go get Chrome or Firefox.

firefox sucks compared to chrome, but ie7 is much easier to read than chrome, which is why i dont use it.

Yeah, it went down, but you should be noticing faster load times and better thread caching. We will still have to rebuild the search index one more time as it looks like it didn’t fully complete the first time, but that can happen late on a friday night when our traffic is at it’s lowest point.
