interlaced = 1/2 of the lines of the image per frame progressive = all of the lines of the image per frame ---

:shrug: I have the supposedly horrid 42" Sammy DLP w/ the black grass. I paid less than $1k for it when I bought it. It’s the right size for the room. And I don’t have any complaints about it in comparrison with any other similarly spec’d TV :shrug: ---

Sammy DLP HL-SXXW series FTW. Price difference from 56 - 61 is only 200-400 beans. If You can fit it, go 61… makes the 1080p so verah worth it. ---
