Anyone have an idea of how much it costs to build a 550 to 600hp 2JZ. Reliably but without touching any internals ---

If you’re not touching any internals they exactly what are you building, the head and a turbo /tune? Just my 2 cents but yes theoire strong blocks but why do you want to take advantage of that contigency. ---

Turbo, manifold, intercooler, fuel system, ignition system, electronics (ie boost controller, ecu) well i have a pretty good idea of whats needed but i’ve never priced it out, just kinda hoping someone has in the past. It’s actually not hard at all to reach 600hp with a 2JZ. I’ve seen plent of guys in the easy 550 range with GS300s in the states. ---

Its not hard to do. Probably the most cost effective motor to get power out of besides a v8. ---
